Today we produced the preliminary task. In production, a film is recorded and constructed, ready for acting. Realistically, various crew members would be hired at this point including assistant directors, sound editors and script supervisors.

However, our film was a minor production so it was not require, although it is worth considering an increased number of production staff on the main task.

There are several aspects of film production which we need to consider;

Setting
In film, the setting constructs the time and location in which the narrative is told, it demonstrates the mood or atmosphere for a film, additionally creating representations.
Setting the film was difficult, as we had little technical assistance in the creation. Additionally, the locations we often full of other students, making it harder to film without interruptions.

Sound
Sound can be important in telling the narrative, and creating a mood. Diegetic dialogue was the only sound we incorporated into the film, which meant that silence, was required in order to produce a suitable audio. However, places were often noisy forcing us to re-film certain scenes.

Camera
We incorporated a variety of shots, to make the film more interesting. It was fairly simple to create a variety of shots with the tripod available.

Lighting
We incorporated high key lighting throughout, which made it simple to film as no re-adjustments were required.
