In today’s lesson, it was our task to experiment with the film cameras, producing a small film consisting of a variety of shots, angles and camera techniques.

We did a variety of shots, demonstrating a person walking, entering a room and then proceeding to have a conversation. The shots were as follows;

A low angle long side shot of someone walking

A low angle long back shot of the subject walking.

A low angle close up of subjects hand approaching a door handle.

A high angle shot of some opening the door and walling through.

A close up of the subjects face.

A second close up of another subjects face.

A matched cut, reaction shot of original subject replying.

The aim of this task was essentially to introduce ourselves with the mechanics of the camera, and providing us with previous experience for our preliminary task. The task went fairly well, with no technical or production issues.
